Useful Info

Registration

The registration desk, located in the Operon Foyer, will be open on the 20^th of November from 09:00 to 12:30, and from 13:45 to 16:30 and on the 21^st from 08:30 to 12:45 (only for people already registered).

Taxis

Taxis can be ordered by calling the number 30 20 30. A taxi ride between downtown Heidelberg and EMBL is approximately EUR 12.

Public Transport

From downtown Heidelberg (Bismarckplatz or Alois-Link-Platz), take bus #21 and get off at the stop "Kern-physikalisches Institut". EMBL is a 5 min walk through the "Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik".

However, this bus only runs every hour (see the VRN 2.21 time table). Please be aware that on Saturday the gate of the Max-Planck-Institute is locked and you need to report to the security guard and show your registration badge in order to gain access.
